IT Manager, 2019 to 2022

Led the development of large, complex IT and software development projects such as applications, automation tools, IT processes and systems, API integrations, Google Workspace integrations, and case management databases from ideation to completion including project management, design, rollout, documentation, monitoring, and analytics

Scoped, evaluated, and designed technology solutions that enhanced the entire organization’s productivity, bettered the working lives of staff, and increased access to our services;

Designed and implemented policies and procedures for software development, users, network administration, and security;

Led the successful transition of the organizations on-premise services to the cloud;

Ensured the security, scalability, and high-availability of all IT assets.

Office Manager, 2017-2019

Provided logistical leadership to all four offices during times of transition and rapid expansion, including collaborating with on-site staff to establish and maintain workspaces and space planning

Worked with the IT Manager and Administrative Director to ensure security, performance, reliability, and timely upgrades of the computer systems, network and internet service, printing and copying devices, and other communications systems across all NWIRP offices;

Created the organization’s first support request ticketing system to ensure the timely resolution of IT and administrative requests;

Led the renovation and beautification of various shared workspaces;

Created, managed, and maintained the organization's intranet.

Legal Advocate (Children and Youth Advocacy Program), 2016 to 2017

Maintained a working knowledge of significant policies, laws, trends and practices in immigration law, particularly as it impacts immigrant youth living in poverty and youth impacted by the criminal justice system;

Assisted in the filing of SIJS, Asylum, U Visa, T Visa, and other special visas for survivors of trafficking or other crimes including research, drafting, and filing;

Led the creation and maintenance of a database to manage the screening, intake, and case management of children seeking services from the organization;

Participated in the planning and performance of community outreach, education, and development efforts;

Provided screening for immigration relief and legal assistance to immigrant youth.

Receptionist / Front Desktop Coordinator, 2015 to 2016

Led the creation of technology solutions to enhance client screening experience, benefit legal staff productivity, and increase prompt access to our services;

Screened immigration assistance inquiries and referred callers and visitors to NWIRP’s various units and offices;

Efficiently managed multiple tasks, while under long periods of stress, and anticipating quickly changing needs;

Answered a high volume of incoming calls.
